It seems as though BlackBerry has got a hot one with the launch of the BlackBerry Priv! Originally the Priv was released on November 6th thanks to pre-orders with ShopBlackBerry. Well it seems that the demand was way higher then originally anticipated for the first run of the device (that is a very good thing for BlackBerry). As noted on the pre-order page in ShopBlackBerry “The smartphone is expected to start shipping the week of November 23, 2015.” So those of you that have not already received your Priv or have a tracking number for your order will have to wait a bit longer to get your hand on BlackBerry’s first ever Android device.
MobileSyrup reached out to Blackberry for comment and here is what BlackBerry had to say about the demand for the BlackBerry Priv. “We’ve begun fulfilling shipments as of Novermber 6, but due to the demand we’ve phased shipments and this is for the next wave.”
